Exceedences Reported to the Environment Agency 13 February 2008
On February 13th 2008 Emision Watch reported to the Environment Agency, large exceedences at Central Penyffordd, Spon Green and Buckley South. These extended over several hours in the early hours of the morning of 9/10th February. Please look at the report on the 'Reported' page below. A receipt of the report has been received from the Environment Agency and Emission Watch is now waiting for the results of their investigation.

All Monitors Calibrated 5th and 6th February 2008
Inorder to maintain our high standards and to have the fullest confidence in our data, all the particulate monitors were calibrated by the manufacturer on 5th and 6th February 2008.

Emission Watch has purchased additional monitors.
Emission Watch is pleased to announce additional investment in new air monitors. A new monitor has been placed at Penyffordd South. Funding has become available for another monitor and we are actively looking for an additional site. This will greatly increase our coverage of the area and provide vital information to inform local residents.

Emission Watch Audit Report 2007
Emission Watch commissioned an independent audit of its proceedures and systems in May 2007.
This was undertaken by a totally independent firm of environmental consultants, who have also undertaken work for the Environment Agency.
Emission Watch is pleased with the content of the report and continues to have confidence in the quality of its monitoring and data.

There is now an Emission-Watch Air Monitor placed in Penyffordd East.
On 14th April 2007 Emission Watch placed a particulate monitor in Penyffordd East.
This was done in response to advice received and in response to local observations of particulate deposits by loacl residents.
At the present time Penyffordd South is without a monitor, but Emission Watch is urgently addressing the situation.

Air Monitors calibrated February 2007
All the Emission Watch Air Monitors were serviced and calibrated on 5th and 6th February 2007.
